Ethical Code of Conduct
Ethical Code of Conduct
At Turbo-Link, we believe that long-term business relationships are built on trust, transparency, integrity, and professional conduct. As an international supplier and sourcing partner of turbochargers, we strive to conduct business responsibly and fairly with customers, suppliers, and partners worldwide.
This Ethical Code of Conduct describes the key principles that guide the way Turbo-Link conducts business.
1. Integrity and Honesty
Turbo-Link acts with integrity and honesty. We strive to provide customers and business partners with clear, correct, and transparent information about our products, availability, prices, and delivery.
We do not knowingly provide incorrect or misleading information about products, brands, specifications, origin, or condition.
2. Product Authenticity
The authenticity of our products is important to Turbo-Link.
When a product is offered as Original Equipment (OE), we strive to ensure that the product originates from the stated manufacturer or from an appropriate and verifiable supply chain.
Where applicable, we clearly distinguish between:
-
Original Equipment (OE)
-
New products
-
Remanufactured products (Original only, unless agreed otherwise with the customer)
-
Other product conditions or specifications
Turbo-Link does not knowingly sell counterfeit products or imitation parts.
3. Responsible Sourcing
Turbo-Link works with an international network of suppliers and business partners.
We strive to purchase products from professional and reliable parties and expect our suppliers to conduct business in a legal and responsible manner.
When selecting and evaluating suppliers, factors such as product authenticity, quality, reliability, traceability, commercial conduct, and compliance with laws and regulations may be taken into account.
4. Fair and Transparent Business Practices
We believe in fair competition and transparent business relationships.
Quotations, invoices, and agreements should reflect the relevant commercial terms as clearly as possible.
Turbo-Link does not knowingly engage in misleading sales practices, bribery, corruption, or undue influence.
Commercial decisions are made based on legitimate business considerations.
5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Turbo-Link strives to comply with applicable laws and regulations within the countries and markets in which we operate.
This includes, where applicable, regulations concerning:
-
International trade
-
Import and export
-
Customs
-
Sanctions and trade restrictions
-
Taxes
-
Product regulations
-
Competition
-
Privacy and data protection
If an international transaction is subject to trade restrictions or additional compliance requirements, Turbo-Link reserves the right to request additional information or refuse a transaction.
6. Fair and Transparent Export
International trade and export are an important part of Turbo-Link's activities. We strive for honesty, transparency, and accurate information throughout the entire export process.
This applies to our communication with customers and suppliers, as well as to our cooperation with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and customs authorities.
Turbo-Link strives to ensure that export documentation and customs data are prepared truthfully and as completely as possible. This includes information about:
-
Description of the goods
-
Quantities and weight
-
Invoice and transaction value
-
Country of origin, where applicable
-
Product codes and customs classification
-
Destination and recipient
-
Required export and transport documentation
We prefer to work with carriers and logistics partners who also act transparently, reliably, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Turbo-Link does not knowingly cooperate in incorrectly declaring goods, artificially lowering customs values, providing false information about origin, or circumventing applicable import duties, taxes, sanctions, or trade restrictions.
These principles apply to our contacts with Dutch Customs as well as with customs authorities, carriers, and logistics partners in the countries of destination and transit.
We strive to handle international shipments correctly and transparently and expect the same professional attitude from our customers, suppliers, carriers, and other involved parties.
7. Our Customers
We treat our customers professionally and respectfully, regardless of the size of their company, their location, or the market in which they operate.
Our goal is to provide accurate product information and help customers identify the correct turbocharger for their application.
When a product is not available or when certain information cannot be determined with sufficient certainty, we prefer to communicate this openly rather than making promises that we cannot reasonably keep.
8. Suppliers and Business Partners
We value long-term relationships with suppliers and business partners that are based on mutual trust and professional conduct.
Turbo-Link expects business partners to respect applicable laws, agreements made, intellectual property rights, and generally accepted standards for ethical business conduct.
We do not knowingly collaborate with parties involved in fraud, corruption, trade in counterfeit products, or other unlawful business practices.
9. Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Turbo-Link does not accept bribery or corruption.
Individuals and business partners acting on behalf of Turbo-Link may not offer, solicit, give, or accept undue payments, benefits, or other means with the aim of unlawfully influencing a business decision.
Normal and reasonable business hospitality should never be used to unduly influence commercial decisions.
10. International Trade and Sanctions
As an internationally oriented company, Turbo-Link recognizes the importance of responsible international business.
We strive to comply with applicable export controls, sanctions, and trade restrictions.
Turbo-Link may refuse or cancel a transaction if there is reasonable doubt about, for example, the destination, end-user, payment, product application, or compliance with relevant trade regulations.
11. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Information we receive from customers, suppliers, and business partners is treated with appropriate care.
We respect confidential business information and strive to process personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
Confidential information is used exclusively for legitimate business purposes.
12. Conflicts of Interest
Business decisions should be made in the interest of Turbo-Link and its legitimate business relationships.
Personal, financial, or other interests that could unduly influence a business decision should be disclosed and dealt with appropriately.
13. Respect and Equal Treatment
Turbo-Link believes that professional relationships should be based on mutual respect.
We do not accept discrimination, harassment, threats, or other inappropriate behavior within our business relationships or work environment.
We strive to treat customers, suppliers, employees, and business partners fairly, equally, and professionally.
14. Environment and Responsibility
We recognize that international trade, transport, and industrial activities impact the environment.
Where practically and commercially feasible, Turbo-Link strives for responsible choices in terms of transport, packaging, sourcing, and operational efficiency.
Additionally, we encourage our suppliers and business partners to pay attention to sustainability and environmentally conscious practices within their own operations.
15. Reporting Concerns or Misconduct
Customers, suppliers, and business partners are encouraged to contact Turbo-Link if they have concerns about possible unethical behavior, product authenticity, compliance, or other conduct related to our company.
Reports will be taken seriously and investigated where necessary.
Turbo-Link does not tolerate retaliation against individuals who report a legitimate concern or potential misconduct in good faith.
16. Continuous Improvement
Ethical and responsible business conduct is an ongoing process.
Turbo-Link evaluates its operations and procedures as needed and strives to further develop them as our company, international regulations, and markets change.
Our goal is not only to supply and source turbochargers but, more importantly, to build reliable and long-term international business relationships based on integrity, transparency, product knowledge, and trust.
